First off, Happy International Women's Day !!!
Everyone needs a little tlc to treat themselves. It's important to take time out of your day or even your week to take care of yourself. Today, I'm talking about treating yourself and de-stressing.
I typically set time out daily to do one thing that helps me center myself.
But, I'm not going to lie; lately I have been neglecting to do so. Skincare is so important to me and it helps me relax. So I decided to take a mini spa day trip to get pampered, aka I got a facial and Brazilian wax.

Location: Los Angeles
Upon arrival I went to the desk to check in. As I was a first timer I had to fill out consent forms and a evaluation form that thoroughly asks you about your skin, prior procedures and what you wanted to get out of your procedures. After that I waited no more than 10 minutes in a beautiful waiting area (pictured below) before I was taken in to get my Brazilian. My technician was amazing, she very comforting and informative (it wasn't awkward at all.)
Afterwards I was taken to get my facial, ( I got the Queen Bee one ) and let me tell ya - it was pure heaven ! I literally fell asleep 30 minutes into it because her hands was working magic on my face. There was about seven or so steps to my facial. I got up and my skin literally glowed ! I take care of my skin pretty well and even on my best week of my own skincare routine, my skin never glowed like this !

Overall Experience & Tips
Overall, it took around 30min to complete my Brazilian wax. It took an hour for my facial.
As for the pain level of my wax it was around 6 (I also have a pretty high pain tolerance).
So here's some tips for you !
- make an appointment , while they do take walk in's its not guaranteed you'll get seen
- if you're getting a wax remember the longer the hair the more painful it is
- it's street parking, there's meters and side streets shouldn't be to hard to find a spot
- look at all their services and prices beforehand
