Like many of you, I've tried many skin products ranging all over the beauty world.
The "In" products, the "holy grail" products, and most did not live up to the hype.
Many of them even damaged my skin and caused problems where none existed previously.
Makeup is great but only if the skin underneath is also taken care of!
I don't know about you but I have super sensitive and sometimes complicated skin. And while I am curious about new skincare and beauty items on the market, I tend to stick to my tried and true products! As a blogger I aim to introduce products that are not only effective and affordable (most of the time) but also something that I would buy.
I decided to make a buy at Glossier for two reasons:
1. One of the hottest companies in the market right now for creating beauty and skincare for the everyday girl.
2. Are striving to create products that show and not hide your true beauty, putting an emphasis on the importance of caring for your skin.
This is not a review (coming later), this is my initial thoughts upon receiving my items from Glossier. So I will talk a little about what each product is supposed to do.
When I received my package it came in a standard box with the infamous Glossier sticker attatched.
Opening it up the box I got the cutest impression with it's pastel pink inside.

What I Ordered
Depending on needs you will buy products that best for your skin. I personally wanted to try serums and moisturizers to add to my regiment. However, once on the site I added a few more things (I mean can you really just get one thing).
Priming Moisturizer Rich
This is cream based and acts as a super moisturizer. According to Glossier this should leave your skin smooth and dewy. I for one need a moisturizer that replaces the moisture that gets stripped when I cleanse my face. It also is said to be a good base for makeup.
Super Bounce Face Serum
I was super excited to see that they offered a few skin serums as well. I opted for the "super bounce" serum because of the Hyaluronic Acid, supports a lot of areas in the body, especially in your joints and skin. Hyaluronic acid in products locks in moisture and gives you extremely supple skin.
Milk Jelly Cleanser
Perfecting Skin Tint
The "milk jelly cleanser" was definitely on my to try list. A gentle but effective cleanser is needed in my regiment, since my cleanser is sometimes harsh on my skin. According to Glossier we can:
...use on dry skin to dissolve away makeup and grime, or on wet skin as you start your day.
The "perfecting skin tint" is perfect for those days that you go around bareface but still want a pick me up and even skin. This is what it does:
evens out discoloration
tones
smooth and dewy finish
ultra thin formula
